"Up Next Mixtape #1" was the first release from James Lyng High School's Up Next Recordings. The mixtape premiered in June 2016 and featured music created by James Lyng students in the 2015-2016 school year.
James Lyng is an Urban Arts High School. Its students have access to a professional quality recording studio with Projet W.O.R.D. (an extra-curricular hip hop literacy program) and in Mr. Gage's student-centred music classes. The label and mixtape were organized by the James Lyng's entrepreneurship class. |
